Here’s your latest statpack; the latest stats, numbers, and milestones fresh off the press after the latest Stevenage game day. We used to do this on Twitter or X or whatever it’s called now. And we’d syndicate it across Bluesky too. But we thought “meh, let’s drive some more people to the site”. That’s the hope and, well, we like to think there’s usually something for everyone once the dust has settled on the latest Boro’ escapade.
Statpack: Wigan Athletic 0-0 Stevenage – 29 November 2025

Boro’ are yet to lose away to Wigan Athletic. Today was our second draw there, with our first visit yielding a 3-2 win in January 2024.

Our win rate against the Latics drops to a not-disgraceful 40%. In five meetings now, we can boast two wins and two draws. A 2-1 defeat at home in January remains our only blemish so far.

Our record when Ross Joyce is reffing is straight down the line at the moment. In 11 fixtures, we’ve now drawn five – with three wins and three defeats apiece. The big positive is our run of eight without defeat that we’re now on, even if three of the last four ended all square.

Boro’ have only ever won one league game on 29 November before. That was a 5-2 victory at Burton Park Wanderers in 1980! We have won two other games on this date – although those were cup fixtures. With three wins and four defeats on this date, a draw is just dandy really.

We’ve now played 48 times in 2025, which is the same amount of matches completed in both 1999 and 2006. In terms of league points, we’re five and 10 points worse off respectively. But! Our 20 wins in 2025 is the same amount as managed in 1999 and one lower than 2006.
