It’s been an average campaign for Boro’ and, for many of us, we’re glad it’s finished. Yes – there was flirtation with the play-offs for a large part of the season. But it never looked that likely we’d get promoted. For some of us it’s very difficult to get to every game. But of course, like any club fan, we want to follow our team every time they play. Here are the best ways to follow Boro’ next season:
Buy a season ticket
If you can afford it and have enough faith that we can make it to League 1 next term, try and get a season ticket. If you check out the official Boro’ site you’ll be able to see prices and availability in all the stands. You might even be able to get an early-bird discount if you act fast.
If you can’t splash out on a season ticket, then there are 23 league matches you could attend at home and prices vary depending on who we are playing but you can normally pick up an adult ticket for around £20- depending on where you sit.
Download apps
There are a plethora of sports apps on the market that provide live updates, match stats, team line-ups and more. If you like to have a weekly flutter on Boro’, there are also a plenty of betting apps you can download; regardless of whether you have an Android or Apple smartphone. These include apps like Betvictor and Bet365. But, for pure live scores and match updates, Sky Sports, BBC Sport and ESPN are probably best for following Boro’ match scores and results.
Watch on the Box
Given the EFL rights, we could be on Sky next season. So, if you can’t make it to the stadium, you might be able to watch the game from the comfort and convenience of your own home. If we make it through the early rounds of the FA or League Cup, there’s also a good chance we will feature on the BBC or BT Sport; both sharing rights for domestic club competitions.
Avoid watching at all
If the last 10 games or so of last season are to be repeated at the start of the new season, then you may even want to consider avoiding following the Boro’ altogether.
