It was too good to be true, of course it was. Our last FIFA 18 Verdict had good intentions, but – quite frankly – poor foresight. The margin of the win, however, was spot on. So, do bear that in mind when you come to mull over the outcome of our latest effort to bring you the tomorrow, today. It sometimes makes us wonder what it’d be like if Darren Sarll had total control over the players when they step out onto the pitch. That, however, may be entering the realms of a disturbing, dystopian future; one where we become slaves to machines. Er…
The FIFA 18 Verdict: Stevenage v Carlisle United
If we can make it through to the weekend with no new dramas, there’s every chance our starting line-up shall be the same as it was at Reading. And Morecambe. And a good few games before that, too – give or take odd changes here and there. It keeps things simple for us, and we like things being simple. So, let’s give this a bash and see if we can’t get it right for once; something for you to work with if you’re using the Unibet bonus code 2018. So, without Freddy Adu: Gladiators, ready? Contenders, ready? Three, two, one – it’s kick off time!
As you can see, we’ve stuck with the same starting XI. And, somehow, have come out of the match with three points despite conceding a last-minute pelanty. Imagine that! Failing to beat a team with 10 men? That never happens in the real world. Incidentally, it *was* a shocking spot-kick. To claim that Tom King didn’t have to be there to face it wouldn’t be an understatement. The ball travelled into a rather packed North Stand, which is strange as we thought it’d been closed. Must be those pesky North Standers causing trouble. Again.
Danny Newton’s first goal was a belter, mind. If you like acrobatics, that is. Like Carl Alford in full flight.
Beautiful. Simply beautiful.
