The FIFA 18 Verdict: Stevenage v Carlisle United
If we can make it through to the weekend with no new dramas, there’s every chance our starting line-up shall be the same as it was at Reading. And Morecambe. And a good few games before that, too – give or take odd changes here and there. It keeps things simple for us, and we like things being simple. As you can see, we’ve stuck with the same starting XI. And, somehow, have come out of the match with three points despite conceding a last-minute pelanty. Imagine that! To claim that Tom King didn’t have to be there to face it wouldn’t be an understatement. The ball travelled into a rather packed North Stand, which is strange as we thought it’d been closed. Danny Newton’s first goal was a belter, mind. If you like acrobatics, that is. Like Carl Alford in full flight.
