On Tuesday, Middlesbrough secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town to move to within one point of Championship leaders Burnley. Aitor Karanka’s men controlled proceedings from start to finish to claim their third win in a row and it would take a brave man to back against Boro’ as the title race continues to swing back in their favour.
Karanka’s side have had their problems throughout the campaign but Boro’ are finally beginning to turn on the style when it matters the most.
The likes of Stewart Downing and Jordan Rhodes, who have both had their disagreements with Karanka this season, are flourishing in Boro’s attack and the Riverside Stadium faithful are beginning to get excited at the prospect of returning to the Premier League.
