Despite the fact we have been paired with the lowest-ranked team still remaining this year (and at home), this is one where we have to be on our guard. Pountney is probably right to say we’re not looking as formidable as the last time we’re playing them. Go and look up the word “erratic” in the dictionary – the definition is our form book. Then again, you could see this as a chance for us to blow away the league cobwebs.
On the squad front, we seem to have a full quota from which to choose – with the exception of Darius Charles. After hinting at changes before last week’s dirge versus Shrewsbury, can we expect them this time around? Peter Hartley will no doubt make his welcome return to the starting eleven, but who else could be a candidate? Gray? Deacon? Parrett? Burrow? It feels as if we’d benefit from freshening up the team. Thoughts?
And now some words from their gaffer Gary Hackett: “If we could take around 1,000 fans there it will be fantastic and make for a really rocking atmosphere.” Here is a thought that worries us – how much appetite for this game is there from a home perspective? If they do bring 1,000 fans, is there a danger they could actually outnumber us in our own back yard this weekend? Now that is a sobering prospect to begin your weekend…

Tim Robinson is your man in the middle for this one and there’s not a great deal to say in that regard. Mr Robinson has only taken charge of two Boro’ games to date; most notable is that we haven’t won either of those. Third time lucky? A regular on the Football League scene, he has officiated in 13 games this season – and his return of 44 yellows seems fairly consistent with most other referees in the League.
This season for Tim Robinson:
Games: 13 — Yellow: 44 (3.38pg), Red: 2
Our record under Tim Robinson:
P2 W0 D1 L1 F3 A4 — Yellow: 3, Red: 0[/expand]

Stourbridge aren’t on FIFA14 – a glaring oversight if you ask us.

Our good friends at Titan Bet are still offering you a £10 risk free bet if you sign up today – what have you got to lose? The odds are in our favour, which is a rarity this season – 7/20 on the home victory and 11/2 on the away win. Over 2.5 goals looks tasty at 11/20, and a sly punt on Both Teams To Score at 4/5 might just come off. We won’t kid you that other bookmakers aren’t available, but they aren’t as good…
